In 2024, Prins Group realized a substantial greenhouse expansion for Leo van der Harg B.V. in Vierpolders. With this 1.9-hectare expansion, the company grows to more than 5 hectares of cultivation area. The new greenhouse was built directly next to the existing location, and both sites are linked in terms of energy and wtaer systems. Passages were also created to move the product efficiently between the locations. An extra cultivation layer was realized above the processing warea, making optimal use of the available space.

The greenhouse is equipped with a modern cultivation system, with our GreenV partner HT Verboom Transportsystemen responsible for installing the internal transport system and the second cultivation layer.

During the construction, the focus was on fast and efficient realization: the greenhouse was completed in the summer of 2024, and from January 2025 onward the first production of potted roses could be delivered.
