Project Wouters
For Kwekerij Wouters in Ens, the Netherlands, Prins Group realized a new Venlo greenhouse complex of more than 51,000 m². The project was developed to support one of Europe’s leading producers of annual bedding plants and seasonal flowering crops, creating additional capacity for further growth and innovation.
Designed around efficiency, reliability and future flexibility, the greenhouse combines high-transparency glass, extensive roof ventilation and advanced water management systems. The result is a growing environment that enables optimal cultivation conditions throughout the year while supporting large-scale production of seasonal ornamental plants.
A unique feature of the project is its seamless integration with the existing greenhouse facilities. Multiple connection corridors link the new greenhouse to the existing production areas, allowing products, people and processes to move efficiently throughout the site.
With around 50 hectares of greenhouses, Kwekerij Wouters is a major supplier of bedding plants, flowering pot plants and seasonal products for garden centres, retailers and wholesalers across Europe. The new greenhouse provides a strong foundation for the company’s continued growth and commitment to high-quality ornamental plant production.
